On the 26th of January 2026, Fr Glen Brookes was installed and licensed to St Martin’s church as Priest-In-Charge by Bishop Richard of Bedford and Bishop Luke of Richborough. Guests from the local community welcomed Fr Glen to the parish and also the Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire.

St Martin’s thanks all the clergy involved with the installation and the Area Dean Reverend Helen Stewart for helping bring things together.

Fr Glen and his wife Heather were welcomed by the congregation over a lovely finger buffet that the congregation had put together for after the service and the evening went well and was enjoyed by all who attended.
